In this project for an information graphics design class, I laid out Apple’s desktop offerings in recent years according to their relative value. The values were computed based on their horsepower (GeekBench processing score) per dollar (initial purchase price in US dollars), with additional considerations factored in like onboard RAM, storage capacity, and storage type. This “value score” was then weighted relative to other offerings during the same fiscal quarter, so the graphics function as a sort of historical purchasing guide.
